Flashback Friday

My little stinker! This was Hannah's Halloween costume in '06. She was so little, but she totally got the whole "put out your bag and you will get candy." We took her to the mall and people would be pointing at her from two stores down. Everyone thought she was so cute, and I definitely agree!

Sing, Sing a Song

Hannah loves to sing. She sings all day long, so it is no surprise that singing is her favorite part of Primary. Can you believe she is in Primary now? I can't!

Don't mind her cute little tounge! We were eating lunch and I think she had a little food on her face and in her mouth!

Perfecting Her New Skill

While we were in Park City, Hannah was able to work on her new skill! She has been doing the one-legged skip for awhile, so she is sooooo excited about perfecting the skip!

Sun Valley Adventures

Chad didn't have school on Monday so we decided to take advantage of it and drive to Sun Valley. We had a delicious lunch (seriously it was the best French Dip I have ever had!). After lunch we walked around and did all the important things,
stuck our heads into some interesting works of art,

sat in the big chair,

ate a yummy, yummy carmel apple,
and of course tried on furry hats.
It was a great day and the drive home was even enjoyable!

Flashback Friday

Here is a picture of me at 2 1/2 years old. Sorry that the picture is blurry. I scanned it from an old picture.

Here is a picture of Chad at around 3 years old. Again sorry about the blurr!

And Hannah at 2 1/2 years old.
Who do you think she looks most like?

Tagged

So my sister Angie tagged me FOREVER ago all the way back in November and I am finally getting to it!

Go to your 4th folder and find your 4th picture.

This made me laugh! She looks like she is in a cupcake eating contest trying to shove the whole thing in her mouth! What a silly girl!

I tag Ashley S., Rachel D., Amber R., and Anna.

Our Valentine's Day Tradition

Here is the recipe for our favorite Valentine's Day Tradition:

Step 1. Make sugar cookie dough and have the cutest assistant chef ever roll them out.

2. Cut into heart-shapes (Of course! I mean it is Valentine's day!) and bake to golden perfection (or close to it!!).3. Spread pink (because it tastes the best) frosting on each cookie.

Decorating tip: Remind the assistance chef repeatedly not to put the knife or fingers in their mouth!

4. Add as many sweet decorations as you like (Hannah chooses to add many many!).

5. Last but not least......ENJOY!

Love is in the Air

We had a great Valentine's Day this year. The day started out with beautiful flowers for Hannah and I.Hannah also recieve a Love Bug, which was a HUGE hit. It lived up to its name because it was love at first sight and she has been carrying it around everywhere since!

We had heart-shaped, pink pancakes for breakfast.

I forgot my camera the rest of the day, but Hannah and I surprised Chad at work with a heart-shaped pizza.
At night Chad suprised me with a candlelight dinner, that he prepared himself, and s'mores over our little grill outside. It was very romantic and nice. What a great guy!
I hope your V-Day was as great as ours!

Preschool Party Time

Hannah's preschool had a Valentine's Day party. She was so excited to hand-out her Littlest Pet Shop valentines. She started out with 30 cards, there are 20 kids in her class, and she only ended up with one card left. Hmmm...that doesn't add up! I am pretty sure that some lucky kids recieved two from Hannah! She had a blast decorating cookies and looking at the cards and candy overflowing from her little bag!

She's a Genius!

Or at least Chad says so! He has been really working identifying letters with Hannah. She is getting pretty good!

Sorry this video is horrible! Just listen and ignore the dark picture!

Chad's goal is to have her reading a book by the time she starts kindergarten. I say "More power to ya"!

***Gold star for you if you can identify the obscure cartoon reference from the title***

Chad is so good to play around with Hannah. He always gets her laughing and crazy. They have so much fun together! What a cute girl and what a great dad!

There is Nothing Better Than New Playdough!

Hannah's Playdough had seen better days (it was hard and all mixed together to a lovely dirty grey/brown color) and so we threw it out and purchased some more. Isn't it so nice and clean?!?!?!
There is nothing better than new Playdough!

Flashback Friday

My sister does this on her blog and I thought it would be fun to do.

This is a picture of Hannah and I back in 2006. I was finished with chemo and my hair was growing back in. Hannah and I had almost identical haircuts! We would always tell everyone that we were having a contest on whose hair would grow the quickest.

Hannah Loves the Snow

We had a snow storm last week that actually left enough snow to play in, so Chad and Hannah took the opportunity to bundle up and head outside.
Hannah loves the snow!

She liked to go down the slide and break off the icicles.

ZIP IT!!!

This is something that I have been saying to Hannah a lot lately, but not in the way you think (well, maybe a little of that way too!). Most of the time I was refering to her new skill.
See for yourself!

Some Things Never Change

Last week we were finally transfering all of our pictures from our old laptop to our new computer and we found something funny.

Our 2005 Christmas picture....

and our 2007 Christmas picture....

Notice anything similar!?! Funny!
