She Could Have Danced All Night!

Just days before we moved Hannah danced in her last recital at Julie's Jazzworks. She did great and look as cute as always! She misses dance already and I hope that we can find a studio that we like here! Hannah is, without a doubt, our little dancer and she could dance all night and day!

Staying on Trax

One of the things that we wanted to do once we got here was to figure out the public transportation. We were hoping that Chad could ride the Trax from our town all the way to work and clinicals in Salt Lake. Hannah was thrilled about it! She thought it was pretty great. She sat by herself most of the time and at one point, when I made her sit with us because the car was full of people, she said, "It's not fun to sit with your family!" Isn't she too young to think that?!?! Doesn't that usually happen as a teenager?
Well the trip worked out perfectly for Chad. He will have the pleasure of riding the Trax everyday (better him than me, I say)! He is a good guy! While in Salt Lake we went to Temple Square for a quick visit. For some reason this is the only picture we took!

Hannah's Favorite Part of Utah

When I first told Hannah about us moving she wasn't so sure it was a good idea. That is until I told her about all the fun things that Utah had to offer. Once the word zoo came out of my mouth she was sold! I told her that one of the first things we would do would be to go to the zoo. We were able to go with my sister-in-law and two of her children. It was a fun trip. Hannah liked seeing all of the animals (and the lion drinking fountain) and I liked that it wasn't sooo hot. We enjoyed the time until the clouds darkened and we had to make a sprint (ok more like a fast paced walk) across the zoo and back to the car. We made it just in time because on the way home there was a down pour! It was raining so hard we couldn't see and the freeway was flooded with huge puddles! All in all it wasn't bad for our first adventure in Utah!

We Made it!!

I just wanted to post a quick update. We made it here to Utah. We have almost everything unpacked. (Don't worry dad, I didn't do TOO much!) We are just trying to hang pictures and decorations. We are also trying to find our way around...we have been lost quite a bit! We have also been enjoying our time before Chad starts working. I will post some pictures later of some of the fun things we have done!

We are Outta Here!!

We are officially moving! Chad got the job at the University Hospital and we found a place to live. We are out of here on June 9th! We are excited for this new adventure! Wish us luck! I don't know when I will post again, but as soon as we get settled I will let you all know!

P.S. On a previous post I reported that Chad was graduating with a G.P.A of 3.5. Well he is much smarter than I gave him credit for!! He actually graduated with a 3.9 and was Summa cum laude! What a smartie-pants!

P.P.S Chad took his board, which is the big test to officially become a Radiologic Technologist and did great! He earned a projected score of 87%! Yea Chad!

I'd Rather Be Golfing

Since Chad has finished school he has been enjoying some much needed free-time! He has been trying to spend time with his two loves: golfing and us! (You'll have to ask him in which order!!)Hannah and I like to go with Chad and sit in the cart. Hannah runs around getting the flag out of the hole for Chad, picking up rocks and leaves, and yelling at the birds.

I enjoy sitting in the cart and working on my tan!

There is nothing like some quality family-time at the golf course!

How the West was Fun!

Saturday our town celebrated Western Days. The day begins with a parade and then ends with booths, food, and rides at the park. It is an enjoyable day that we look forward to every year! The parade is much more enjoyable than the park (too many people and too hot), but Hannah would be thoroughly disappointed if she didn't get to ride in the barrel train that is at the park every year and I can't complain about the awesome corn dogs! And of course a parade wouldn't be a parade without a little boogie from Hannah!
