It is Fun to Run

Every year Hannah's school has a fun run. The Kindergarten age kids run 1.5 miles! That is pretty far for those little legs to run! Chad was able to be Hannah's running buddy and Grace and I cheered them on at the finish line.

Trying to keep warm before the race.

A hug right before the race
The cutest little cheerleader

Hannah did a really good job. She wasn't the first, but she finished and we are so proud of her!

Flashback Friday

I guess this isn't a total flashback, but it has been happening for a while....We are going to have another baby!! It was a bit of a surprise, but we are super excited! I was super sick in the beginning but I am doing great now. Today I am 21.5 weeks along. We found out last week that we are having another girl! 3 little girls! Totally crazy. Hannah was really hoping for a little brother, but I told her how great it is to have sisters. Poor little Grace has no idea what is going on and how much her life is going to change in just a few short months! We are excited and nervous about the changes coming, but it is always great to bring more children into our growing family!

I Am Back!

So it has been a VEEERRRRRY long time since I last posted. I have decided that the longer you don't do something, the harder it is to start doing it again. My plan is to start posting again starting with recent events and then do Flashback Fridays to catch up on the stuff that has happened over the past almost 6 months (yeah...it seriously has been that long!).

We will start with Hannah's birthday! She turned 6 last week. I really can't believe it. She is so big and smart. We love having her in our family. She is a great daughter and a wonderful and loving big sister. She is a big help to me and is really a good little girl. Hannah wanted a Build-A-Bear for her birthday, so on the big day we went into Salt Lake. She looked over every possible animal and finally settled on a cute little puppy that she ended up naming Kate.
After Build-A-Bear we had a yummy dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. Hannah was so excited for her free Birthday Ice Cream Sundae!

As if that wasn't enough sugar, that night we had some friends and family over for cake and ice cream. She had a great birthday day and the celebration didn't end there...check back Wednesday for even more birthday excitement!
