Getting Things in Line

Grace has a new fascination with putting things in lines. Several times a day I will find her lining some other group of things up. Her favorites to line up are shoes...

her magnet alphabet...

and books! She looks pretty proud of herself, no?

Now if only she would develop a fascination for cleaning them up!

One Thing I Forgot

I forgot to post this video with our St. Patrick's Day festivities. Hannah's class had a Leprechaun Parade at school. They marched through halls singing this song. Hannah said it was kind of embarrassing! I just think it is cute!

Sisters

I loved these pictures of my two littlest girls with their jeans and pink shirts. This is one of the rare times that Grace actually wanted to hold Clara. Most of the time Grace is too busy being Grace to be bothered by Clara! I am so interested to see what their relationship is going to be as they grow up. My two sisters are a few years older than me and now that we are all older, they are my best friends. I am hoping they will be able to be buddies as they are growing up. Sisters are the best!

Just Kickin' It

Hannah has been playing indoor soccer. It has been fun to see her out there trying. I don't know if soccer is her sport, but I am glad she is trying something new! And she also looks super cute in her soccer shirt!

Seeing Green

On St. Patrick's Day we were visited by a leprechaun! Hannah was so happy to see that there are girl leprechauns (she had been asking me all week if there were girl and boy leprechauns). She was a nice leprechaun and left some of her chocolate gold coins for us, but we had to go on a shamrock clue hunt to find them. Hannah was very, very excited! Grace had no idea what was going on, but she liked the chocolate in the end!

The tricky visitor also turned some of our dinner green and Chad brought home super yummy shamrock shaped sugar cookies for our dessert.

A gross little side note: Grace was bouncing around like a wild maniac and puked just a little...yeah, it was green! Haha! That is the only color to puke on St. Paddy's Day right?!? Told ya it was gross.

Just a Cute Video

This is just a cute video of Grace and Clara. It makes me smile. I love to see my girls interacting with each other.

Family Movie Night

The movie night tradition started a few years back when Chad worked every Friday night. The girl's and I would get a Redbox movie to watch, lay out a towel, and have an indoor picnic while we watched the movie. I would also rent a movie for me to watch after the girl's were in bed, usually a girly one that Chad wouldn't want to watch with me. Now that Chad doesn't work Friday nights (YAY!!) it has changed into Family Movie Night. Hannah looks forward to it every week and we hope it is something we can keep up for years to come! For one Movie Night we rented the new Winnie the Pooh movie. The girls HAD to watch the movie with their stuffed Tigger and Pooh Bear they got for Christmas. It was sooo cute!

The Easter Bunny Came Early

The other day I was putting away laundry. I came out of the back room and saw a trail of Littlest Petshop animals. I followed the trail and found Grace! She had a bag full of them and were distributing them all over the house. She left some under the table, on the couch, and under the high chair. After she emptied her sack, she went around and picked them up again. I asked her if she was the Easter Bunny. She looked at me like I was crazy and said, "I bunny...no! Name Grace!" Of course.

Update on Hannah Banana

I am sad to say I don't have very many pictures of Hannah lately. I guess that is what happens when you are at school all day!

Grace isn't the only one who likes to take several self portraits on my phone! I love how the top pictures highlight her freckles and the one on the bottom shows her pretty curls.

Hannah is such a good big sister. Even though she gets frustrated with Grace sometimes, she is usually so good to help her and include her in the things she is doing. She LOVES Clara and the feeling is mutual. Hannah can get a smile out of Clara even when I can't.

Hannah is loving 1st grade. We just had PTC and she had shining reviews! I am so amazed at the things she is learning. The thing that blows me away is her reading. I think it is so crazy how in just one year they can go from just knowing letters to reading full books! Amazing!

Hannah is still involved in dance. Her teacher this year is great and Hannah looks forward to going every week. Right now they are practicing for their performance of Cinderella. She is pretty excited!

She is a busy little girl! She is also playing soccer right now (post coming later). We love Hannah Banana!

Update on Gracie Lou

Grace is a crazy monkey. Here are just some random pictures of her.

She starts the day off with two socks, but inevitably she will end up with just one sock. I don't know why she only takes off one sock! Silly Grace! She is big on "I do it!"

Here is her latest crazy trick! I swear she is going to break her neck one day!

Also notice her pjs are on backwards. We have to do this or "Houdini" takes off her pjs and diaper!

Also notice that her bed is in the middle of the room. We have to keep everything out of arms reach or she will grab it. One time she emptied Hannah's drawer and put on ALL of Hannah's dance clothes and socks. Another time she grabbed Hannah's church bag off the dresser, got a black crayon, and scribbled all over the wall!

She is going to be the death of me!

These are the slippers she got for Christmas. She loves that they squeak!

Update on Little Miss Clara

Clara is such a little sweetheart. After the SUPER fussy stage this Christmas, she has become such a great baby. She is much more content and happy.

Most nights she sleeps the whole night, from 7:30pm-7amish. She also takes 2-3 naps throughout the day in her swing. Although lately she has been waking around 4am for another feed, but I just think she is going through a growth spurt.

We hope she is growing, because she is a little one. She turned 5 months old on February 25th. She weighs 10lbs 30z.

She is rolling over (has been for a while, can't remember the exact start date).

She is super smiley and has an adorable dimple!

She enjoys sitting up like a big girl in her Bumbo, especially when I am fixing meals. She loves her sisters! She starts squealing whenever they come close to her.

She LOVES her bath. She just kicks and talks and sings during the whole thing. This video was the last time she was in her little tub. We just put her in the big bath now, because she is a wild maniac and kicks water all. over. the. kitchen. I am talking counters, floors, and walls!

Here is a funny pic! This coat is stinkin' cute on her, even though she looks like the little brother on A Christmas Story in this picture!

Play Legos with Daddy

I am all caught up! Wahoo!! Now I can start blogging about current events.

Chad is so busy with school and work, that we cherish any time he gets to spend with us. The girls especially love it. The other day Chad took them to the store and they bought some Legos. Chad has a huge tupperware full of Legos from when he was a kid. Hannah purchased one of the new "girl" Lego sets. We even got her a new little tupperware to store her Legos, just like daddy.

It was so cute to see them all playing together.
