F.H.E. is Sweet and so are Cupcakes!

Monday night for F.H.E. we decorated cupcakes. Hannah could hardly wait through the song and prayer to start. We had lots of fun. Chad spent his time carefully and artistically decorating two cupcakes. I spent my time speed decorating as many as I could in between keeping Hannah's hands, the frosting, and candy out of her mouth. We then delivered them to our friends. Don't worry we only took the ones I decorated to people!

Ok..So Here is the Deal

I have a problem with blogging and here it is....
it is hard to post when,
A) you don't leave the house;
B)when you actually do leave the house you forget your camera;
and C)you are too lazy to be creative and come up with a post!
So that is my problem!

We haven't done anything really interesting for the past week or two, but then at the end of last week we did something and of course I forgot the camera!

Chad and I celebrated 5 years of wedded bliss on Friday. Half a decade! Impressive, huh?!?! We celebrated by Chad working all night at the hospital and me going to the movies with my sister and her family! Romantic, I know!

Luckily we were able to celebrate before our actual anniversery. My sister was nice enough to watch Hannah for us while we went to Utah. It was fun to have time with just Chad and I. We were able to visit Chad's brother and family, go shopping, visit Weber State University (where Chad will hopefully be going to Radiation Therapy school next year), and enjoy a de-liscious dinner at P.F. Changs. It was a really fun trip.
I am so glad that I am married to Chad. He is a wonderful guy. He is funny and supportive. He is a great father and dedicated to making our marriage great!
Here's to many, many, many more half decades! I love you, Chad!

I Love to See the Temple

Recently the Twin Falls Temple open house was held in our town. We were able to go inside and see the beautiful building and feel the spirit that is there.

Chad's mom came here and attended a tour with us. At the beginning of the tour they put protective booties over our shoes, to protect the carpets. Hannah was not a fan! Halfway through we ended up taking off the booties and her shoes. So she can say that she is probably one of the only people that has walked through the temple barefoot!

The grounds were beautiful, too. We were able to walk around and see the plants, flowers, and (Hannah's favorite) the water fountain.

Ignore my voice and the wind, but listen to this. It just makes me cry! Little children are so sweet and close to the spirit! Her voice is so sweet!

Our Hike in the South Hills

Whenever I hear the song of a bird

Or look at the blue, blue sky,

Whenever I feel the rain on my face
Or the wind as it rushes by,

Whenever I touch a velvet rose
Or walk by our lilac tree,

I’m glad that I live in this beautiful world Heav’nly Father created for me.

He gave me my eyes that I might see the color of butterfly wings.

He gave me my ears that I might hear the magical sound of things.

He gave me my life, my mind, my heart:I thank him rev’rently

For all his creations, of which I’m a part.

Yes, I know Heav’nly Father loves me.*

What a Week!

We spent a whole week in Rexburg at my mom's house. It was a fun week full of activities. I enjoyed hanging with my sister and my mom. Hannah enjoyed having "friends"/her cousins to play with from the time she woke up until the time she went to sleep and seeing her "grandma with the Barbies and horses."

We went to Bear World where Hannah's favorite thing was the amusment park-type rides. I think a few made her slightly nervous, but she acted brave for her cousins.

We went to the Tautphaus Park Zoo and saw lots of animals. My favorite parts were to cute monkeys and the baby ducks.

One day we went to Rigby Lake. It was hot outside, the water was cold, and we got sand in EVERYTHING, but the kids enjoyed it!

Notice the picture of the kids podding peas. Hannah loved this. My mom, being the smart lady she is, called it a "Pea-podding Party." Hannah kept asking if it was time for the party yet. Who knew podding peas could be a party!?!? I may need to use that technique some time!

It was a really fun week and we were both sad to leave. Hannah asks everyday if we can go back to grandma's house and I almost want to say ok and pack up the car and make a surprise visit. Just teasing, dad!

We are Experiencing Technical Difficulties-Please Stand By!

Our computer is all messed up and we are trying to fix it. I will post as soon as I can. I know you are all dying to know what we have been doing!
