Spirit week at school: 80's day (When Hannah asked me what they wore in the 80's I said, "Pretty much what is popular now!" Who ever thought that 80's style would EVER be popular again?!?!), Hat day, Crazy hair day, and Cowboy day (Thanks Gma and Gpa Wade for the cowboy gear!)
Easter egg hunt at the community center. Actually there were no actual eggs involved in the hunt. Just a field full of candy! Too bad it was 99% taffy, none of the good stuff! The girls did not mind!Another egg hunt at our apartment complex (and just so you know it was on the same day as the other hunt, so Hannah didn't actually wear her soccer shirt on multiple days!) This time our cousins joined us. It was really fun spending time with them. Hannah and Kate worked together to get the eggs and even won a big prize. Some how I didn't end up getting a picture of it. It was a HUGE clear egg that had a stuffed bunny in it. They split it by Hannah taking the bunny and Kate getting the egg.
While our cousins were visiting we also went to a paint your own pottery place. Grace painted a turtle and Hannah chose and Easter egg. After carefully painting the whole thing she accidentally dropped it while carrying it over to show me. It shattered into a thousand pieces! It was sad, but luckily the people at the shop were so nice and let her paint another one at no charge. Hannah told me that she actually liked the way her second one turned out better anyway. So I guess it all worked out for the best!
So that is March!
Next up: April
