My First and Possibly Last Furniture Restoration

Before

During

After

We bought this beat-up bunk bed for Hannah at a yard sale for really cheap. After hours and hours of scraping, sanding, priming, painting, screwing, hammering, and sweating, we finished it! I must admit I am pretty impressed with the way it turned out. Not bad for our first attempt!
Hannah wanted to sleep on the top bunk, so we left off the bottom and now she has a little play area underneath.

Hannah loves it!

I'm Alive, I'm Alive!

Don't worry I am alive. I am just a little blogged out! Check back next week for more exciting adventures (or at least what I do all day)!

Look how little Hannah used to be! The picture is a little blurry, but she is so cute it makes me want to cry!

London Bridges Falling Down

Okay so it is actually the Perrine Bridge and it isn't falling, but the people sure are...

Okay so maybe they jumped. Geez...just trying to be creative!

We went to the Perrine Bridge Festival on Saturday. It was a fun little festival with some fun things for the kids. They were raising money for kids in need. There were base jumpers all day long. When we were there in the morning one guy had already jumped 8 times.

Hannah's favorite part of the "festible" was the spin art. She loved it so much she did it twice!

She also got her face painted,

She didn't want me to take her picture, hence the grouchy face!

jumped on a trampoline, saw the inside of a helicoptor,

and played with a few animals.

Its All Fair...

Last week we went to the Twin Falls County Fair. It was a cold and VERY windy day, but still fun. Hannah loved the one game and one ride she was allowed to choose. The rest of the time she kept asking if she could go on another ride and another. She takes after her daddy and loves rides. She even wanted to go on the Pirate Ride (although she never actually saw it going so, she may have changed her mind, especially if she heard that lady!).

She played the dart game and this was the result...

She had help from Chad and the game operator was actually really nice and not that creepy!

Hannah also loved all of the animals. Her favorite were the goats that she was able to feed.

We loved the fair. It was a fun day and we can't wait until next year.

It is Official...Hannah is a Preschooler!

Hannah started preschool on Tuesday. I can't believe that this time is here already! It seems to have come so fast, but also taken forever to get here! It is definitly weird having 3 whole hours to myself two days a week! I guess I need to get a hobby!

About a week before preschool started Hannah and I made this.

Every morning she would pull off one ring from the chain and we would count how many where left. She would always say, "7 days left!" no matter how many days were actually left.

Here she is looking absolutly adorable!

Her new outfit and new backpack.

She is such a poser! Silly girl!

Sorry this video cut off, I ran out of space on the memory card.

She loved preschool. When I picked her up I asked, "What did you do today?" She answered, "Everything!"

I hope she always loves school!

My Best Friend's Wedding

My friend, Ashley, got married this last weekend. It was so much fun to go there and see a bunch of my friends that I haven't seen in soooo long! Trudy, Ann (Tag is her cute, cute baby) Marlee, and Brit. (Rachel was there too, I don't know why she wasn't in this picture!) Amanda came to the reception. We talked all night and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
I look like a giant! These just happen to be my shorter friends and I am wearing really tall shoes!

The ceremony was very nice and Ashley looked beautiful. I didn't actually get to meet Sione (her husband) until after they were married! They were so happy and I was happy for them!

Congratulations, Ashley and Sione!
