This picture cracks me up!
Hannah loves to make snow angels and snow babies (I have yet to figure out the difference)!
Grace started smiling a few days before Christmas. At first I thought it was just gas, but then I noticed that she would do it when you talked to her. She smiled the most for Chad in the beginning. Here is a video of some of her first smiles.
Another one...

Christmas Eve afternoon the men of the family loaded up the kids and took them sledding. I stayed home with the baby (where it was warm!!). They had so much fun, even though it was freezing! Hannah was loving it and becoming more and more brave. One time she decided she could go down completely by herself, without Chad helping her on the sled and making sure she was headed in a safe direction. She flew down the hill and straight into a tree. She was really scared and banged her knees pretty bad. She told Chad that she never wanted to go sledding again. Chad said, "Don't say that. You were having fun until you hit the tree. You should say, "I don't ever want to hit a tree again!"" What a good and smart dad!
We were able to make a quick trip to Rexburg for Christmas this year. It was fun spending time with Chad's family. It was definitely weird (and a little sad) to be there without my parents! As I mentioned last year the Burton Walk Around the Christmas Tree is something about Christmas that I love. We went to it this year and were able to see my brother's and their families. It was not the same without my parents, but Hannah had fun with her little cousin, Olivia. I have several blurry pictures of the two of them together, because I couldn't get them to hold still for a picture! I can't wait until next year!
