Christmas Eve afternoon the men of the family loaded up the kids and took them sledding. I stayed home with the baby (where it was warm!!). They had so much fun, even though it was freezing! Hannah was loving it and becoming more and more brave. One time she decided she could go down completely by herself, without Chad helping her on the sled and making sure she was headed in a safe direction. She flew down the hill and straight into a tree. She was really scared and banged her knees pretty bad. She told Chad that she never wanted to go sledding again. Chad said, "Don't say that. You were having fun until you hit the tree. It Is All Fun and Games Until Someone Hits a Tree
Christmas Eve afternoon the men of the family loaded up the kids and took them sledding. I stayed home with the baby (where it was warm!!). They had so much fun, even though it was freezing! She is such a cute girl, all bundled up like that. Makes me want to go sledding.
Looks like fun. There is a small hill by the church and the kids in Belarus sure use it a lot of sleigh on. They use cardboard and sometimes just their coats. So kids all over the world love snow. I'm for staying in with the baby where it is warm!!
That is a smart dad. I don't want to hit a tree either. That's a good life lesson.
